SURPRISE! You're 40. But for Chip Gaines of HGTV's "Fixer Upper" the bigger surprise was how incredible his lovely wife, Joanna, was at putting together an evening he'd never forget.
I was first introduced to Johnnyswim earlier this summer and fell in love IMMEDIATELY. On a brisk, fall night Joanna gathered together all of Chip's family and dearest friends in their backyard for a twinkling night of dining beneath the stars and enjoying a private concert by none other than the dynamic duo that is Johnnyswim. I can not imagine a way to be celebrated better than surrounded by your favorite people while enjoying the talents of your favorite band. Chip, you have sown richly into this life and reap the fruits of your labor. In creating so many incredible homes for so many, no place felt more like home than your back yard with so many dear ones on this sweet autumn night. Cheers to 40 more!
