These days even for my pup and me, time seems to be slipping through my fingers and I can not find a pause button anywhere within reach. Walking through life became a jog, then a run, and now it feels like a slide. Whole weeks blur past and I hope to hang on to even the smallest of memories - the fragrance and melodies of those days, the temperature and color and mood. To imagine my own tiny humans growing and changing makes me think a pause button must be pushed even if just for a moment.
I had the distinct pleasure of taking images of so many families I have known over the years, families I just met, and families being formed this past weekend. Together, we all took 30 minutes to pause. To be together. To say, "You are beautiful. I am yours, you are mine, and I want always to remember just exactly how many freckles are on your face at this exact moment. "
Yes there was bribery. Yes there were bait and switches. Yes whispers of cake pops floated gently on the wind. Fake smiles abounded and we made fools of ourselves until we were really laughing. No one said pushing pause would be glamorous. :)
Our Holiday Mini-Sessions are for anyone who needs to stop, gather those they love, and have a sliver of life paused for always to keep close. Families, besties, housemates, couples, individuals - all of the above and their pups too are invited to invest in a little piece of art that can be a time machine and take you back to these days. Intended to be shared during this holiday season and treasured for all the rest to come.
Sessions are $200 (a non-refundable deposit of $100 secures a time on the schedule), include a 30 minute time slot, 2 high res files, and an online gallery and shopping cart to share with friends and family.
What you can expect:
-a casual, fast-paced session aimed at capturing a great group shot and a collection of beautiful moments.
-low pressure on kiddos as well as photo-shy parents and individuals. :)
-friendly helpers to amuse kiddos and fur babies.
-images will be turned around and made available online within 3 business days of the shoot and chosen high res images made available immediately by digital download.
-a set of images with both color & BW options
-proofing galleries are mobile friendly, have an easy to use favorite button to indicate your high res choices, and are delightfully shareable with friends and family.
